Emily earned her master’s in social work and ended up working in leadership roles within nonprofits and philanthropic foundations managing programs around substance abuse, child protection, suicide prevention, grief, end-of-life, depression, and other important societal issues. Emily went on to work as a clinical therapist in a residential treatment center for teens as well as working as a Hospice social worker.

Emily is currently being supervised by a licensed therapist as she earns her hours toward full licensure as a clinical therapist. Emily is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the InternationalCoaching Federation and a nationally recognized Advanced Certified Practitioner in DISC, Motivators, Hartman Values Profile (HVP), Emotional Intelligence (EIQ-2) and Learning Styles assessments. Combining her skills from leadership, coaching, and clinical roles, where each skill learned complements the other, creates a unique skill set for Emily.

Emily’s greatest strength is her ability to see the potential in others and help them to move forward within the challenges of life. Strength-based and engaging – her strong suit is her empathy and her ability to really understand where someone is coming from, and to use that to develop a path forward. She resides between the Wrangell Mountains of Alaska and the White Mountains of New Hampshire with her husband and their 2 dogs. Emily comes from a background of professional skiing and loves anything one can do in the outdoors.
